I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with a virtual practice serving individuals and couples across New York State. I earned my Master of Social Work with a Field of Specialization in Gender and Sexuality from Hunter College. I also completed a two-year trauma therapy program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and am certified in the practice of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Before these more recent years of individual and couples therapy in private practice, I spent several years working with both survivors and perpetrators of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. This experience has given me a nuanced understanding of the complex dynamics that can fuel acting-out behaviors and unhealthy patterns in relationships. When encountering these realities in clinical work, I approach them with non-judgmental curiosity, helping clients move through stigma and shame toward self-compassion, deeper understanding, and a tangible sense of autonomy.
As a therapist, I draw on my appreciation for storytelling—whether through music, movies, theatre, books, or photography (the photos on this website are some of my own amateur shots!). I also value exercise and time spent outdoors, recognizing their important role in emotional regulation. I thoughtfully integrate these tools, along with your own personal interests and experiences, into our work together of exploration and restoration.
I am passionate about what I do! I’m deeply committed to this work and honored to be trusted with your story. I genuinely enjoy the process—the conversations, insights, challenges, and the moments of humor that make healing possible.
